Registered Icelandic Sheep: This year's lamb list

Ewes for sale.. click here.

AI lambs (AIs) are no longer restricted to flocks enrolled in the Scrapie program!

This is a great year to add the very finest bloodlines and stock to your flock. Our 12 years of lambing with careful breeding choices have produced a wonderful selection of sheep for you to bring home. (see the bringing sheep home info) . We offer a 10% discount on the purchase of 3-6 lambs and 15% discount on a group of more than 6. A non-refundable* deposit of 1/3 the total price the sheep is required to have the sheep “reserved”. Contact us by phone or email to reserve your choices. The sheep will then be listed as “on hold” for 7 days. When the deposit is received the sheep will be listed as “reserved”. If the deposit is not received within that week, the sheep will again be listed for sale. The balance of the purchase price is due before the sheep leave our farm. Health certificates are provided for all animals moving out of state. All animals will be registered with the CLRC.As you are aware, the gasoline prices are much higher than last year. Delivery fees will be negotiated according to number of animals and distance. You may want to pick up your sheep here (a large dog crate can hold a lamb or two) or be part of a group delivery. See our show schedule or contact us about possible times and places.

What does "reserved" mean? Reserved means someone has put down a deposit on a sheep. You can ask to be wait listed for a specific sheep on the rare (very rare, we should warn you) chance that the lamb isn't picked up.
*if an animal is unfit or unavailable for sale, you may move your deposit to another animal or the deposit will be returned.

Aren't they lovely? To reserve yours please contact us by email if possible so we can mark your lamb as chosen!

SEND Snail Mail TO:

I will notify you by email or telephone, be sure to provide that information.

Again: email to frelsi@wildblue.net  or a call to 207-793-4640 to claim your lambs!

The USDA/APHIS has passed a new ruling that will allow the lambs born from AI pregnancies (referred to as F1's) using imported semen will no longer be restricted to flocks enrolled in the Voluntary Scrapie Flock Certification Program.  This opens up a wonderful opportunity for increasing the genetic base in many more flocks.  And, offers you the chance to add some of our very best lambs, yearlings and adults to your flock.  For those of you enrolled in the program, we are flock ME-02 and were certified July 20, 2005.

Our lambs were on TV: and they're very cute: check them out!
