Welcome to our Maine Icelandic Sheep Farm!
Our wool comes from our beautiful
lambs and adult sheep.. our blends are the result of careful
selection of fibers from other New England farmers and exotics
from our exclusive sources. Our wool is soft, light, and
airy.
We do our own dyeing from acid fast dyes.
Acid fast dyes give us a vast array of light-fast colors
without requiring the toxic metal mordants. We sell most
of our dyed yarns at the shows we attend. This year you'll
find us at the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival at the beginning
of September, and Rhinebeck New York State Sheep and Wool
Festival in mid-October. If you've never been to the Rhinebeck
show it is a pilgrimage for fiber freaks and I highly recommend
it!

Sport
Weight 100% Icelandic Wool
Soft and lovely this is our natural colors, handmilled
for the look and feel of a fine handspun, then gently
washed to set the twist and loft the fiber. Socks,
scarves, mittens, just imagine.. ~75 yds/ 1 oz.
Our sport weight is 225 yards (approx
3 oz). A minimum order (per color) is 3 ounces
(an average skein), the Farm at Morrison
Corner says "2 skeins make 2 pairs of mittens
if you reverse the base and top colors! The
same is true of socks.
If you think in skeins, multiply the
number of skeins you need by 3 to get the number of

Lace Weight 100% Icelandic
Lamb's Wool
We have some lovely colors in lace weight fresh from
the dye pot. Contact us if you're looking for a particular
color for your project
.2 oz skeins, buttery soft, makes
heavenly socks, perfect for those fancy argyles, and
shawls that wrap you in a cloud. ~275 yds/2 oz

Icelandic Roving
WE HAVE NEW INVENTORY! Frelsi Farm fleece roving comes
in a wide variety of flavors, a joy to run through
your fingertips. We price our roving by the ounce,
but have a 4 ounce minimum order. Please contact us
if you need help with the selection. We're in the
process of planning our blendings for this spring...
